Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Platform Development- Technical Lead to support ongoing Development, feature Development, and Developing complex networking software. This contractor will be engaged through Agency and will work closely with our engineering teams to deliver high-quality Software Development coverage for key product areas.
This is a project-based contract assignment, not a full-time employee role

Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Platform Development- Technical Lead to support ongoing Development, feature Development, and Developing complex networking software. This contractor will be engaged through Agency and will work closely with our engineering teams to deliver high-quality Software Development coverage for key product areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with customer and product teams to understand new requirements
- Write Feature Spec covering the requirements and detailed design
- Implement improvements and features individually or as part of a team
- Triage, resolve internal and customer found issues
- Evaluate, Integrate third party libraries
- Peer review of Feature Spec, Code, Test Plan and other engineering documents
- Improve performance/scale of existing features/solutions
- Help with interview, onboarding and mentoring of new hires
- Plan, schedule, track and periodically report the project status all the way to customer delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Strong ability to write high-quality code in C/C++.
- 8+ years of hands-on networking software development., including technology such as:
- platform bring up
- optics
- experience with bcm sdk
- ONL
- Prior experience working in a startup or fast-paced, venture-backed environment
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex networking environments
- The selected individual will be employed by Agency, not directly by our company
- Compensation, payroll, and statutory compliance are managed by Agency
- The contractor will receive day-to-day direction from our engineering leadership
- System access will be provided as required to perform project duties
